Hot-vulcanized round cord rings are made from extruded round cord. After measuring to the required dimensions, the joint is cut and hot vulcanized. Thanks to special vulcanization mixtures, which are suitable for the respective material, the vulcanization point has almost the same chemical and thermal resistance as the elastomers used. Round cord rings are therefore a cost-effective and readily available solution for static applications instead of molded rings.
